JESSICA SHERLOCK, a filmmaker from Meanjin/Brisbane, centres her work around stories that inspire and amplify the presence of complex and empowered female characters on screen. Her work spans across documentary, dramatic shorts, commercial and music videos, and her films have screened at festivals across Australia and internationally.

Jessica also works for Bus Stop Employment, an inclusive employment service for all people with disability seeking work in the screen industry. Prior to her work in film and television, Jessica resided in the UK working as a Social Worker and travelled throughout Europe and Asia, where she explored the richness of human stories and adventure. She draws on these threads in her creative practice.
